Water can create a variety of sounds depending on where it’s coming from or where it’s going. A single drop feels like a feather, the sound barely touching your ear, but when millions of droplets fall from the sky, an eerie echo encompasses the air. When it flows through a flat river bed, it becomes so serene and beautiful that it can gently put you to sleep. But when millions of gallons descend through a boulder-infested river that leads into a towering granite drop, the power alone is so gargantuan that the thought of experiencing the weight of that mass forces my chest to collapse, and the tiny particles of humility, form a gravitational pull, and into it, falls the Ego.
